Simple Truths

Speaking of believing in Him, here are some basic verses that all Christians can relate to. Listening to my daughter read these the other night reminded me just how beautiful these Sacred Words are.

Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths. Psalm 25:4

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord who could stand? Psalm 130:3

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

…. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved …. Acts 16:31

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3:36
