What God says about Anger

Here are just a few scriptures on the topic of anger. Maybe today is the day you needed to be reminded of these.

"But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment." Matthew 5:22

"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:31,32

"My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires." James 1:19,20

And that is so, so true. The fruit of anger is certainly not righteous and not what pleases our Great God - El Shaddai.
